C.J. and Rocky
C.J. and Rocky
Narrative
My cats' names are C.J. and Rocky. They are both 12 years old and are brothers. Their mother Flower died not long ago. We think their father was a cat named Bob but we are not sure. C.J. has fluffy hair. Rocky has fairly coarse hair. They both have white spots somewhere on their bodies. C.J. has a spot on his belly and Rocky has one on his neck.
Their mother was shy and so is Rocky. C.J. needs to be around people. He has
an obnoxious meow that he makes when he wants to come into my room when my door
is closed. Even though I'm allergic to him, he still comes into my room when he
knows he is not supposed to. When he hears my parents coming up the stairs
towards my room, he runs out so that he doesn't get thrown out.
Heredity
C.J. and Rocky are both similar to their mother Flower in some way. Flower was fluffy and C.J. is fluffy. Flower was black with a white spot on her neck. Rocky is also black with a white spot on his neck. My cats are mixed breeds and I don't know any of them. All I know is that they are barn cats. C.J. and Rocky are both hybrids meaning that they are mixed breeds. C.J. and Rocky have lots of breeds in them. They were born in Massachusetts 12 years ago.

History
No one really knows the true beginning of cats but from the statues
that were found we think people in Ancient Egypt thought that cats were the
daughter of Isis and goddesses of the sun and moon. In their eyes the people
believed that cats had captured sunlight. Cats also had the job of killing mice
to keep them away from the grain.
