HARLEY

Narrative

This is my dog Harley, we got her from these people in Hudson, New York. We read about her in a newspaper ad, and I wanted her badly, so my mom called the people and asked if they were still trying to find her a home, so I begged and begged my dad. He said OK.  We went that weekend to go pick her up. They decided to give her to us. My mom was glad because she was already trained and house broken. That was the one good reason she wanted her. Harley is very hyper and loves to give kisses. Harley is a pure bred Black Labrador Retriever. The people named her after their Harley Davidson, and they also had another dog named Davidson, but it died. Harley loves our home except all the stairs.

Harley is very smart and protective to the house and us. Harley has a unique personality. She will only give you the ball if you open your legs, then she will walk under your legs for a minute, and then she will drop the ball. Harley really only listens to me. My dad does not like that very much. Harley does not chew on shoes, but she enjoys chewing on stuffed animals. Sometimes she steals my mom's dinner after we already have fed her, and gets my mom really mad but she has never made her sleep out side. I think she's happy about that. Harley has short black hair but sheds all over the place. She thinks she's a puppy because she tries to lay on our laps and sleep in my bed. Harley waits with me at the bus in the mornings, and races me up the hill when I come home. I treat her like she's my own baby. She gets in a lot of trouble sometimes, but we all love her still.
