Ginger
Narrative
One day, I was watching my brother's baseball game and I saw my future dog. My mom and I patted her. The people who owned the dog said that the dog's name was Ginger. The man and women who owned the dog asked us if we wanted her. After one day we decided to get her and we went and got her. Ginger was 8 months old when we picked her up. Ginger is now 3 years old. Ginger is a Rottweiler and German Shepherd mix.
She sheds all over the house and it's an annoyance. She is black and
brown and really dumb. If you play fetch with her and throw the toy, she
gets the toy, but she won't give it back to you. If you tickle her ear she will
move her paws like crazy. If my dog is laying down and a fly is near it,
my dog will try to eat it.
Heredity
My dog is part German Shepherd and part Rottweiler. She is mostly black so
the Rotwiler is the dominant gene. There are little parts of brown on Ginger
from the Rotwiler part. Ginger has a long tail so that must have came from the
German Shepherd in her. She also has big ears like the German Shepherd. The
German Shepherd half is the recessive gene of Ginger.
History
My dog originated in both Ancient Rome and Germany in northern Europe. It's
fur coat is short and smooth. They get to be as tall as 22 to 27 inches. It
weighs from 75 to 130 pounds. Their intelligence is above average. If the breeds
are mixed together, colors can vary from black, tan, sable, and all black.
